FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 4, 2003

Macedonia, OH, USA- The President of FAR Associates, Ralph Felice, presented an invited technical paper at the Moscow Symposium on Non-contact Temperature Measurement sponsored by The Institute for High Temperatures, Russian Academy of Sciences. The Symposium was held in conjunction with the 2003 ElectroTechno Expo, a major exposition of scientific and industrial instrumentation. The technology, invented and developed by Mr. Felice and his company into a series of rugged, non-contact temperature measurement devices, has been “discovered” by the scientific community after the 2002 presentation at the Eighth International Temperature Symposium in Chicago, IL, USA.

FAR’s technology is offered in their “SpectroPyrometer” product line. The concept is a major advance in the technology of non-contact temperature measurement, providing for the first time instruments that give unambiguous temperature measurements for research and manufacturing. Response to the presentation of the expert-system SpectroPyrometer at the Symposium applauded the impressive level of scientific achievement and real-world results.
